`~~embarassing experience~~~~

.....Oh dear god~the first blog that i write is the embarrassing experience in US. It was
the first day i came here, my friend take me out to the wheels to dinner.
there r a lot of people there, so we waited for 40 minutes for the dinner.
Finally we sat down and a pretty waiter came to get us some drink.I ordered Coke and started to look at the menu. i am interested about the steak, yeah!the big delicious NEW YORK STRIP STEAK. After a while, the waiter came again, she said"Do u guys ready to order?" "yeah, i like the steak" i said. i thought she would ask my friend what they like, but she continued to ask me" how do u want your steak cook like? " i was confused, I didn't know what that means. SO.....I said "OK"...my friend laughed at me and the waiter feel confused and asked me"rare? medium?well done?" i still don't know, so i said again"OK" everybody started to look at me, i was totally embarrassed. How jerk i am~~~from that, i searched on line to learn everything about meals, restaurant, eating habits... i don't want to that kind of stupid thing happened anymore.

  4. The wheel, a resturant for calumet students, especially for international students who do not have cars.
I like that resturant. It serves salad with soup together which does not always happen in other resturants.

  6. The Wheel is a pretty good restaurant. Personally, I always stay away from the lunch or dinner menus since I love breakfast food from restaurants like that. Skillets or omelets are my favorite. As far as you're situation goes, that stinks, but I'm sure you're not alone.

Also, just so you know...restaurants like the Wheel, The Purple Steer (on Ridge and Indianapolis- a really good place), or Round the Clock are not found everywhere. They're, as far as I know, all run by (usually) Greek's and you definitely can't find them in just about any other place. Take for instance where my my sister lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have nothing like the family restaurants we have; they seem to be all corporate run...Yuck!

  8. I think everyone has experienced an embarrassing moment like this. It was embarrassing at the first, and then turns to be interesting when it reminds your past. Actually we have made process since the first time of facing embarrassing things. intelligence takes place of infantility.
